LASERTRIM MUSKOKA INC.

LaserTrim Muskoka Inc.

Established by owner Jeff Rogers in 1991, LaserTrim Muskoka quite simply sets the highest standard in custom milling and woodworking. Our clients return to LaserTrim time and again because they know what they want, and they know that we will deliver it. We take great care in sourcing the best possible materials for each job, with special attention given to both grade and moisture content. These factors are critically important for interior products where moisture content is vital in maintaining proper wood stability.

Nothing is more important to us than exacting craftsmanship and indisputable results, so the way we look at it, we are staking our name and reputation on each and every project. We wouldn’t want it any other way.

About Jeff

Jeff has lived and worked in the Muskoka region for over thirty years. He started his career as a carpenter while also doing woodworking on the side, but eventually moved to an industrial environment where he fabricated and installed custom pieces, like stairs and cabinetry.

Over time, Jeff came to understand the degree of unnecessary waste occurring on construction sites that resulted from substandard-grade, poorly milled, or inadequately dried materials. Part of the problem, he realized, was that the people milling the wood had never installed it. Jeff spied his niche as a millworker-installer with superior quality standards, and soon built a strong reputation locally as a skillful craftsman with uncompromising standards. But while his success has often led others to advise him to expand in search of bigger, better, faster profits, Jeff keeps in mind something his dad used to say: “Stick with what got you to the dance.”

Today, while the LaserTrim team still does some commercial and wholesale work for the lumber industry, Jeff’s passion for fine custom millwork and woodworking brings LasterTrim together with clients, designers, and projects that engage his artistry and invigorate his craftsmanship. And that’s just where he wants to be.

Philosophy

Jeff’s philosophy is deceptively simple: Tell people what they need to know, not what they want to hear. Thanks to that honesty, he has built his business on loyalty and repeat customers. At LaserTrim, we never cut corners on processes, substitute lesser-quality materials, or try to talk a client into something that isn’t what they really want. If Jeff can’t do it in your timeline or budget, he’ll tell you. If it’s going to take a while, he’ll tell you. He’d rather underpromise and overdeliver than the reverse.
